Nutrition is a food molecule that is needed by all living things to make energy, grow, develop and reproduce. The nutrients are digested and then broken down into basic components for use by the organism. There are two main types of nutrients, macronutrients and micronutrients.


Different types of nutrients are needed for survival and proper management of the body. And the need for these nutrients varies from person to person.

The body needs a lot of these nutrients to keep it healthy. These provide energy to our body in the form of calories. Which is essential for survival.


These nutrients play a vital role in keeping our bodies healthy, preventing disease, and building new tissues.


Nutritious-dense foods are rich in vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that are important for health, without too much-saturated fat, added sugars and sodium. We can eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean and low-fat dairy foods, fish and seafood, processed lean meats, and lean poultry, nuts, lemons and more.


Carbohydrates are the primary source of energy in our bodies. This micronutrient is classified into simple and complex. However, it all depends on how the body breaks down food or glucose.


In addition to providing energy, carbohydrate-rich foods contain a lot of fiber. Which helps keep our digestive capacity and intestines good.


Fat also provides energy to our bodies. These macronutrients help the brain perform hormones, as well as boost our body's immune system.


Protein is essential for building muscle, stimulating hormone control and repairing damaged cells. In addition, the body needs amino acids. However, these amino acids cannot be made by the body on its own.


Although essential in small amounts, micronutrients combine with macronutrients to keep the body healthy and strong. As well as giving strength to the body, keeping the metabolism in order, strengthening the bones, and providing peace of mind.


There are a total of 13 types of essential vitamins. Such as Vitamin A and Vitamin C are essential for the functioning of various organs, maintaining muscle and bone health and preventing heart disease. All the vitamins enter the body if you are in a balanced diet with different types of food. And minerals, like vitamins, are essential for the functioning of bones, teeth, muscles, blood, hair, nerves, and various metabolic processes.


Minerals like potassium, sulfur, calcium, and magnesium are very important for various physiological processes. Also, minerals like iron, zinc, iodine, copper, manganese, fluoride and chromium are required.
